Weight Loss Surgery (Bariatric Surgery)
Gastric Sleeve
It is an operation method that reduces the stomach capacity by 80%. It is a surgical method planned with the logic of reducing food intake and thus calorie intake by reducing only the volume without changing any part of the gastrointestinal system. With this method, it is generally possible to reduce 30-52% of body mass. Unlike many surgeons, we routinely bury the cut line after sleeve gastrectomy with suture, as a standard for all patients, we adjust the size accordingly by placing a calibration tube. This method is called an adjustable gastric sleeve.
