You can cut the waiting times by having these scans here in Cyprus at upto 50% less cost than in the UK. Your doctor in your home country may well have already informed you what type of scan you require. A consultation here will determine which is most appropriate if you are unsure. We can schedule these procedures before you arrive so that you won’t have to wait, and reports can be ready usually within 48 hours. Whichever scan you have, you will be given a detailed report and images. Your results will be discussed with you by our doctors. These test results can be used here in Cyprus to consult one of our specialists about further treatment if necessary. MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging uses a powerful magnet to pass radio waves through the body. It creates highly detailed pictures of the body’s structures including soft tissue, nerves, blood vessels. Unlike X-Rays and CT scans MRI’s don’t use any radiation. Be sure to inform us if you have any metal clips, implants, or metal objects in your body.
